Elevate Your Edible Game
Edibles are a special category when it comes to hemp-infused products.
From mouth-watering flavors to ease of use, edibles are one of the most popular ways to consume hemp-derived cannabinoids. Additionally, edibles typically produce more robust effects than smoking, vaping, or dabbing.
With this in mind, you want to consume the highest quality edibles without sacrificing potency or flavor. Luckily, we only stock tried and true edibles that meet regulatory standards.
For those obsessed with chocolate, we’ve tapped brands that use real chocolatiers and sustainable cacao to produce mind-blowing hemp-infused edibles. If you have a sweet tooth, why not dive into a bag packed with blissfully potent gummies?
Cater to your mind and body’s needs with a diverse range of cannabinoids, such as HHC, THC, and CBD, whether you’re a vegan or not.
How Do You Use Edibles?
We’re committed to safety at Simply Crafted, which is why our products offer precision-dosed serving sizes.
For example, the 50mg THC Chocolate Bar from Retro Bakery contains ten pre-cut servings — each packed with 5mg of hemp-derived THC. However, you can cut this serving size in half if you desire less potent effects.
Ultimately, our edible menu is filled with easy-to-use products that are responsibly packaged and dosed for the best experience.
What Effects Can You Expect With Edibles?
Depending on the dominant cannabinoid, hemp-infused edibles produce a wide range of effects.
However, the primary effects produced by edibles are euphoria and relaxation. From improved sleep quality to pain relief, hemp-infused edibles can enhance your day or night for hours.
Depending on your dosage, the effects can last between one to three or more hours. Therefore, always begin with the lowest dosage to ensure the best experience possible.
Are Hemp-Infused Edibles Legal?
At Simply Crafted, we only stock compliant and lab-tested hemp-infused edibles.
All edible products on our menu follow the 2018 Farm Bill, meaning you don’t need to worry about legal issues when buying hemp-derived edibles online.
How to Dose Delta-9 THC Edibles
Many things can play into dosage, like age, height, weight, gender, diet, and of course, cannabis use experience. Always start with a professionally made edible that has a known dosage. That means that there's an amount of Delta-9 THC on the package listed in milligrams (mg). Stay away from homemade edibles, which have an extremely unpredictable amount of THC, amongst many other possible undesirable things.
Small Dose
A low dose of THC is anywhere from 1 to 5 milligrams. The result of a low dose of THC is you'll likely feel relief from stress, anxiety, and pain. This is the perfect place to start if you're new to edibles or looking for a good amount to micro-dose.
Medium Dose
An average dose of THC is 5 to 25 milligrams of Delta-9 THC. The result of a medium dose is you'll probably feel it a bit more in the body and feelings of euphoria. If you're an experienced cannabis user or definitely want to feel something, then this is the dose for you.
High Dose
A high dose of THC is from 25 to 50 milligrams of Delta-9 THC. This dose is for seasoned edible eaters and is perfect for people who know what to expect. At this point, you'll definitely feel heavy effects of euphoria, couch-lock and will definitely be stoned.
How to Dose CBD Edibles
CBD edibles are perfect for people who want all-day relief in a tasty, convenient form. The body tolerates CBD much easier than Delta-9 THC, making it possible to take relatively large doses of CBD without any negative side effects. The great thing about CBD edibles is that they last throughout the day. That's because the CBD edible gets digested, which slowly releases the CBD throughout the day. Typical CBD edible strengths, such as the average CBD gummies or capsules, usually contain about 10 to 25mg each. However, even 50 to 100 mg of CBD is easily tolerated by most people.
Difference Between Edibles and Tinctures
Now you might be wondering, isn't a tincture the same thing as an edible? While the two are similar, there is a key difference. For starters, tinctures are meant to be taken sublingually. That means the drops of THC go under the tongue, where they're absorbed into the bloodstream. Edibles, on the other hand, are meant to be eaten and digested. Since tinctures are absorbed mostly under the tongue, they work quickly but don't last as long as edibles. However, they do bypass the digestive tract and your stomach acid, which some believe leads to better bioavailability and overall absorption.
How to Dose HHC AND Delta-8
Delta-8 and HHC are a lot like Delta-9 THC, but they have significantly lower psychoactive properties. That means that Delta-8 and HHC are like THC light. The wonderful thing about HHC is that it's much more difficult to take too much and get into a bad trip. However, taking too much HHC can still get you to an uncomfortable place. That's why you need to carefully dose hHC like Delta-9 THC—just to be on the safe side.
Start With a Quarter
If you have HHC edibles, it's best to start with a quarter of a dose. For example, if you have 25 mg HHC gummies, cut one gummy into four parts and eat one part. That should give you a dose of about 6.25 mg, which is considered a low dose for HHC. If you feel confident or think your dose is much higher, you can start with half a gummy. Wait at least two hours before taking more because it can take a while for the HHC to take effect, the same as with Delta-9 THC.
